Witney Choirs / Adult Singing Groups
We have TWO Singing Groups in Witney for adults (age 16+).- Our group for experienced singers who have sung in a group situation before.
- Our group for 'beginners' - or those who are new to singing or who would like to just sing for FUN!
There are no auditions to join - and no requirement to be able to read music. The emphasis is on having FUN, while singing with like-minded people (we try not to use the word 'choir' too much, as we feel that puts some people off). Our singers often tell us how great they feel afterwards.
We aim for a very contemporary repertoire - Adele, Michael Buble, Robbie Williams, Olly Murs, One Direction, Glee, Emile Sande, Jessie J, Bruno Mars 'Lady Ga Ga' are already on our list as well as songs from modern musicals such as Hamilton, Dear Evan Hanson, 'Priscilla', Hairspray, Everybody's Talking about Jamie and Sister Act.
We often perform in the local community and beyond, including Christmas Light switch-ons, Outdoor festivals, flashmobs and even The Royal Albert Hall.

Fees
Fees are currently £90 per 12-week term
(equivalent to £7.50 per night, payable per term, in advance).
Fees are paid by bank transfer.
We are happy to arrange payments in one, two, or three, instalments.
